ALEA and Alba County School Inspectorate, organised during the month of April, „Eco E COol!” – ”Eco is Cool!”, is the most important campaign of collecting recyclable materials from paper ever held in Alba Iulia.
The campaign was organised as a competition among classes and targeted pupils in the primary and secondary levels. The class that collected the biggest amount of paper won the big prize: an eco-tour in Retezat National Park.
The results of the campaign: 4,000 children enrolled voluntarily and 93 tonnes of paper was recycled. At the end of the campaign, 2,500 pupils took part in a show. For this final event of the campaign the local boyscout organisation was ALEA’s partner.
