On May 12th 2010 Alba Local Energy Agency, Alba County Council and Alba County School Inspectorate held an unprecedented Nearly 100 costumes, made by the students form recyclable or recycled materials, were displayed on stage in fornt of a demanding jury of experts namely Doina Biro, scientific coordinator of the Library S. Batthyaneum culture and one of the leading specialists in art from Romania, Viorica Boitor, artist and professor of painting and fashion design at the Cultural Center „Augustin Bena, Ioana Vieru the Alba Iulia Puppet Theater Director, Rodica Andronescu school inspector and Sabina Ciorogar school inspector.
Over 700 students and parents were present at the show, who came to encourage their favorites in the competition for the best costume. The prize at stake was a class trip.
After deliberation, the jury chose the suit number 82, worn and created by Ileana Dan, a student of class IX B of the National College Korea, Hen and Crisan. She invited her colleagues on the trip. The jury also awarded three individual awards for creativity for John Popa (class XI E, Economic College „Dionysius Pop Martian”), Gabriela Sabo (Class XI-A, Sports School) and George Ilea (class X A Technical College „Apulum)
Besides the fashion parade, artists from each school made artistic performances to impress their peers from other schools. In addition, the show included a concert of a band in vogue, DJSava and Raluka.
